Abstract

Pollution has become one of the most serious environmental and public health challenges in modern society. Rapid industrialization, urbanization, population growth, and excessive use of natural resources have significantly increased different forms of pollution, including air pollution, water pollution, soil pollution, and noise pollution. These environmental problems have harmful effects on human health, quality of life, and overall well-being. Exposure to polluted environments contributes to various physical and mental health disorders such as respiratory diseases, cardiovascular problems, skin infections, stress, anxiety, and weakened immunity. Vulnerable groups including children, elderly individuals, and people with pre-existing health conditions are especially affected by pollution-related health risks. The impact of pollution on human health and well-being and analyzes the major causes and consequences of environmental degradation. the effects of industrial waste, vehicle emissions, chemical contamination, improper waste disposal, and urban development on public health. how polluted air and contaminated water contribute to diseases such as asthma, lung cancer, hypertension, waterborne infections, and other chronic illnesses. the psychological and social effects of pollution, including reduced quality of life, mental stress, and environmental insecurity.
