Abstract

As communities seek to reduce their environmental impact and increase resource efficiency, green building approaches are essential. Green building technologies including energy-efficient design, sustainable materials, and water conservation present problems and opportunities. Green building approaches minimize energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, but they often have drawbacks such high initial costs, lack of knowledge, and regulatory limits. case studies from cities that have incorporated green building efforts and shows how government regulations, industry partnership, and technological innovation accelerate the greening of cities. This research helps cities promote sustainable growth while reducing their environmental effect by balancing these challenges and possibilities.
