The proliferation of social media as a stage for emerging artists has had far-reaching effects on the creation, dissemination, marketing, and reception of digital art. Online video sharing sites like YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok have given artists a voice they previously had to rely on in the form of traditional art organizations, galleries, and exhibitions. examines the ways in which social media has helped promote emerging artists and the ways in which digital platforms have provided access to the arts for people from all around the world. ways in which artists may use social media to market their work, engage with fans in real-time, build their professional identities, and build communities online. Features such as visual storytelling, live streaming, digital portfolios, hashtags, and algorithm-based suggestions have substantially improved opportunities for artistic acknowledgment and collaboration. The ability for artists to sell and promote their work directly through online marketplaces and forums is one manner in which social media has contributed to the commercialization of art. how contemporary visual culture, audience comprehension, and artistic techniques have been impacted by social media. Despite the beneficial benefits on accessibility and innovation, digital platforms can bring forth concerns such as competition, content saturation, algorithmic visibility, copyright issues, and the desire to maintain online popularity.
