Abstract

Academic achievement is influenced by a combination of cognitive, emotional, and social factors that contribute to students' overall learning and performance. Among these factors, emotional intelligence (EI) has emerged as a significant predictor of academic success, as it enables individuals to recognize, understand, regulate, and effectively utilize emotions in themselves and others. Students with higher levels of emotional intelligence are generally better equipped to manage academic stress, maintain motivation, develop positive interpersonal relationships, and adapt to challenging learning environments. the role of emotional intelligence as a predictor of academic achievement among students by exploring the relationship between emotional competencies and educational performance. A quantitative research design is proposed using a structured questionnaire to assess various dimensions of emotional intelligence, including self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills. Academic achievement may be measured using students' grade point averages or recent examination scores. The collected data can be analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and multiple regression techniques to determine the predictive influence of emotional intelligence on academic performance.
