Environmental themes in films from around the world, with a focus on how these films address the pressing issue of climate change and engage with eco-criticism. Through a critical analysis of influential films from around the world, this research looks at how cinema has developed into a powerful medium for raising awareness about sustainability, environmental degradation, and the impact of humans on the planet. As well as being entertaining, films about climate change, natural disasters, and ecological crises reflect global fears and urge viewers to reconsider their relationship to the earth. This article takes a look at the tales, aesthetics, and ideological issues that comprise the growing number of films that focus on the environment. It examines films from both the mainstream and independent industries. The influence of film on public discourse about sustainability and climate change, and the ways in which different cultural perspectives color the depiction of environmental concerns.
