The Role of the Family in Addressing the Problem of Intellectual Deviation Among Youth in Algerian Society: Perspectives of Social Science Specialists

Abstract

The present study seeks to explore the role of the family in addressing the issue of intellectual deviation among youth in Algerian society, from the perspective of social science specialists. The study employs a descriptive-analytical methodology. The researcher developed and applied a tool assessing the family’s role in treating intellectual deviation among youth, which was administered to a sample of 89 professors (49 female and 40 male) from various Algerian universities. The results revealed the following: The family plays a significant role in addressing the issue of intellectual deviation among youth in Algerian society, according to social science specialists.
