Abstract

Astrology has traditionally been used to interpret personal characteristics, career direction, financial conditions, and future possibilities. In contemporary society, individuals may consult birth charts, horoscopes, planetary forecasts, and digital astrology platforms when considering professional and financial prospects. This paper examines the role of astrology in predicting career and financial prospects, focusing on zodiac signs, birth charts, planetary symbolism, career decisions, entrepreneurship, financial beliefs, timing, uncertainty, digital astrology, and critical perspectives. From an astrological viewpoint, planetary positions and chart configurations may be interpreted as indicators of professional strengths, financial opportunities, challenges, or favourable periods. These interpretations may influence confidence and personal decision-making. However, career and financial outcomes are shaped by education, skills, experience, economic conditions, market opportunities, financial planning, risk, and individual behaviour. Astrology has not been scientifically established as a reliable method for predicting career success or financial outcomes. The paper therefore considers astrology primarily as a cultural and reflective practice rather than an evidence-based forecasting method. A balanced approach can recognize the personal and cultural significance of astrology while emphasizing practical career planning, financial literacy, risk assessment, and informed decision-making.
